The film focuses entirely on the detection of Hailey's case, interspersed with the emotional progress of the hero and heroine, and more of a whipping of human nature, including extreme violence. Compared with the American version, what attracts me is the coldness under the lens of the Nordic director, and there is not too much backtracking and frequent cuts. The atmosphere created is just right for a suspense film.
