Hu Di is the young master An Di’s favorite traditional cowboy doll. He and other toys will "live" and play together when the master is away. But the good times are not always, and Buzz, the latest and most popular toy, is only a few years away, and he has left Hu Di in the cold. In order to consolidate his position, Hu Di, who has fallen out of favor, only deliberately wants to drive Buzz away. In an accident, Hu Di and Buss unfortunately fell into the home of a toy sadistic neighbor and died. The two incompatible opponents on the roads of Yuanjialu, finally turned the enemy into a friend, played wit, and passed this adventure smoothly and returned to the little master.

The first film made entirely digitally. At the beginning, the perspective of the toys (the manipulated person) is switched from the perspective of the owner Andy (the manipulator), from humans (hand-painted and live actors) to non-humans (computer-generated). Looking at it this way, Buzz mistakenly thought that he was a real person, and Woody combined with toys to scare neighbor sadistic children, but also a bit new (space future) and old (western past) when handing over the specific fear of "AI subverting humanity".

Such a good movie released in 1995! I finally made it up again recently! After watching this movie when I was young, I felt that there were people like me. My toys would move and live when I couldn’t see them!

  • [from the Michael Eisner segment during the TV premiere of "Eloise at the Plaza"]

Sergeant: [to Woody via Playskool walkie-talkie] Red alert. Michael's coming upstairs.

Woody: [He and his Andy's toys starts freaking out as they start putting back] Michael's coming, everybody. Back to your places. Hurry.
