The film itself has a unique rhythm and frequent subtitle translation errors, I don't doubt that quite a few people do not understand the film. Others have no sympathy. It's boring to think of this movie as a yy crossing, or even a night of games. The meaning does not lie in metaphors as analyzed by some film critics. There are many metaphors in the film, but these metaphors are so common in American film and television dramas that they are really nothing.
I haven't read the original "Electronic World Contest" in 1982, so I can't say that I understand it completely. It's just that the overall atmosphere of the movie makes me like it. A good sequel can make you feel good even if you haven't seen the original. If you have seen the original, you can experience more details.
I quite like the soundtrack of this movie. It's a bit similar to Canon, with layers of progressive and continuous repetition, repetition with change, and change with repetition.
I like the protagonist. The protagonist is not the handsome guy I think, with splayed eyebrows and forehead lines. Not long after the movie started, when he was in a good mood, he heard a sentence from the old man, his eyes dimmed suddenly, and the transition from happy to sad was quick and natural. At the time, I thought it was superb acting. The subsequent performance also made people feel that the child was laughing and joking when facing people, but he always looked lonely when he turned around, which made people feel distressed. But after thinking about it, maybe it was just because of his horoscope eyebrows that made him look melancholy when he was expressionless. Melancholy is always tempting.
I like the overall fairy tale feeling and fable taste. It seems that people generally think this is fake, silly or meaningless. Another example is "Promise". I always think "Promise" is very good, but it has been criticized by the public. If you stay out of the matter and only take out a fragment to look at it, it's really fake and stupid, and inexplicable. Only by entering that kind of atmosphere and situation can you experience the beauty of it. And this thing, you can’t force it, and you can’t rely on others to explain it to you. It all depends on whether the track of your brain’s reverberation coincides with it.
That kind of hearty and magnificent feeling, accompanied by the pictures and music, reached its peak step by step, gorgeous. I think that must have fulfilled someone's dream. At least some people in the production team are not working mechanically for purely commercial purposes, but to realize their dreams. People who have the same dream will love this film, but others will find it boring.
I don’t like racing stunts very much. I have always been not interested in pure stunts. Besides, this kind of stunts is not shocking now (it might be okay if it was placed 10 years ago). If I cut the racing part shorter and compress the film to less than 90 minutes, I would like it better.
