Nothing to do, write a few words to pass the time.
A few days ago, while chatting at night, L inexplicably mentioned that the mid-life crisis and the sense of crisis of young people are similar, and both are problems that start to transition between the two stages.
"When I was in high school, the post-90s generation became the focus of the conversation. At that time, I felt that I had stepped out of the historical stage." I said.
I watched the script of the old 1967 movie "Car Accident" today, but unfortunately I couldn't find any movie resources. (I hate it to death, I can't get the excellent things I want, but the garbage is flooding, and even I can't help but feel this way more or less, the notebook seems to be smeared when it is connected to the Internet.) The theme is exactly the middle year crisis, no doubt about it.
This is the first time I read a script. It's based on someone else's novel by Harold Pinter.
Harold Pinter's superb screenwriting ability has allowed me to understand the charm of screenwriting. I don't think I need to find the original book and read it. Scripts and novels have their own strengths and weaknesses, and the difficulty of writing is also two different things. The former has to mobilize the camera and use the voice, which is a broad ability, while the latter is mainly about the depth of language expression.
This script reminds me of Cao Yu's "Thunderstorm". It is concise but the details are full of meanings, the structure is well-arranged, and the ending is especially profound: most people can't escape the mid-life crisis like a car crash, and then they truly grow old. , wait to die. This is just a rule, and there is no essential difference between eating and drinking.
There's nothing to be verbose about, I just can't help but want to compliment Harold Pinter's accomplishments, because I feel that the story itself is lacking, and none of the characters attract me, of course, this is a personal interest. As for this title, it seems a little off-limits, but in fact it is just because the story is about the marriage and affair of a middle-aged man, which is similar to love, so this wonderful assertion is made: In peaceful times, love is the greatest adventure that can be experienced.
