"Time Planning Bureau (Escape from Time and Space)" is a very good science fiction film. Although the plot has some loopholes, the director intuitively expresses the problems faced by everyone in real society through novel themes: as the population on the earth continues to expand, Resources are becoming scarce, how can human beings continue to survive?
Time, life, and money are closely related. In the film, time is life, and life can be used as a medium of value exchange like money. The rich can live forever, but the poor can die at any time. People living at the bottom have so extravagant expectations that they can eat breakfast calmly. They pay attention to how much their lives are left at all times. They only earn a little time to survive a hard day's work. But the wealthy people live a luxurious and noble life comfortably, with sharp contrasts, just like the current society. The people at the bottom are tired of running around for three meals a day and a small nest. They have no time to think and enjoy life. Therefore, our wealth is exchanged with time and life. The powerful, powerful and wealthy are in collusion with each other and control the rules of the game. They can raise prices, create inflation, and greedily plunder other people's wealth, but in fact they absorb other people's lives in disguise.
There is a plot in the film that is unforgettable. At the last moment of life, the mother of the protagonist runs desperately to meet her son, but life is so fragile and helpless in front of the rules of the game. Fortunately, most people can still eat breakfast calmly, and don't have to constantly calculate when they will die. However, if we continue to develop according to the current model, one day we may all have to face the same dilemma in the movie, whether to sacrifice the lives of most people to sustain a small number of people to reproduce, or to create a way that most people can accept What about the new rules of the game? Darwin can't give an answer, everything is changing. Later in the film, when the poor suddenly became rich and all of them rushed to the rich area, does it indicate that everyone should be given a fair stage and let time determine the destiny of mankind? The director did not give an answer. Everyone should have an answer in their hearts.
