A lawyer with a tongue and a conscience, praise! A good story has a rushed ending

Mick remembered his father's words from beginning to end but didn't understand it until he encountered this big trouble, which made him re-understand his own heart and his father's words. The male protagonist plays a lawyer who is a bit ruffian but does not lose justice.

Eddie Vogel: [from trailer] Counsellor?
Mick Haller: Eddie, we had a deal. Either you pay me, or go with a public defender.
Eddie Vogel: How 'bout five grand?
Mick Haller: Ten.
[Eddie then hands Mick a brown envelope, presumably with money in it. Mick shakes the envelope]
Eddie Vogel: Ain't you gonna count it?
Mick Haller: I just did.
