This is a magical religious movie. There are no legendary heroes or bizarre and terrifying plots in the movie, but I have always been attracted, curious, and driven to watch this movie. How did they die? who killed them? Why did the male lead keep being spared? Where does the door in the book lead? Who is the heroine in the book? Is it an angel or a demon? She has a strange kung fu, her pupils are changing colors, she always appears and leaves quietly, she always has a mysterious smile, she always prophesies, she is always very calm about everything, she is always just right Appearing when the hero is killed, is she good or evil? She protects the hero, but ignores the death of others. What is all this for? What do the illustrations in the book mean? Where does the door in the book lead to? Why are they looking for the world behind that door? I have always been driven by such curiosity, although I am afraid, although I am afraid, but I have finished watching this movie.
Although I didn't really understand it after watching it myself, I only got a general idea of the details after reading the religious film reviews, and I couldn't help but marvel at the director's thinking and the rigor of the film. It's a good fantasy movie, not bad.
Looked at Depp, very good. Still like it.
