Is our daily life normal?

On the afternoon of New Year's Eve in 1997, I watched this movie on cctv6, and I was always impressed. It seemed so novel when the time was repeated. Of course, looking at it now, the plot is still relatively dull, the rhythm is a bit slow, and the scene is single, which seems to be a low-budget film.
But I'm curious, after all, the male protagonist continues to move forward with time just because of accidents. If he has no accidents, then all the time will repeat. Are all people immortal?

In other words, how do we know that we are not being repeated every day by some mad scientist?
