When I was a sophomore in high school, I wanted to watch this film for a long time, but unfortunately the network resources were chaotic at that time, and it became the "Rising Wind and Cloud". Of course, that movie was not bad, but I felt that there was no male protagonist in the whole movie, and at that time, I couldn't stand Dongfang Invincible and a woman kissing me and me, as well as the fantastic and weird "magic skills" of Miao Village and Japanese pirates. After a lapse of two years, today I am not surprised when I see the bloody and affectionate scenes in the Invincible East. I'm also curious about how Linghu Chong and the others were so young, why did they make up their minds to return to Niubei Mountain?
Tragic stories are often like this: the dream is beautiful, but the protagonist can't escape the reality. Some people say that Linghu Chong and his junior sister left at the end of the film. However, Ren Woxing made a comeback, the rivers and lakes are still rivers and lakes, and the grievances are also grievances. It can be seen from "The Rise of the Storm": Later, the East was undefeated and prevailed, giving orders to the rivers and lakes.
We can't say who wins and who loses. But in the same arena, each has its own difficulties. Back to the protagonist of the story: the East is undefeated. He (originally a man) was a member of the Sun and Moon Sect, in order to overthrow a corrupt government, or for the happiness of the Miao people. He did not hesitate to spend his life planning major events: first he endured humiliation from the palace, practiced the sunflower collection hard, and lived up to his loyal poetry; then conspired to rebel, became a "traitor" and left a vicious name; then there was "collaboration" Japanese pirates, bribing corrupt officials, intending to betray the country... In the whole process, Dongfang Invincible is holding the banner of the opposite, but who can really understand his difficulties?
Finally, Linghu Chong appeared. From the first glimpse of the wilderness, to the smile of Jisha Jinghu, to the help in the dark attack. Although he didn't need his help at all, he did feel his help. A pot of wine, a poem, a set of swordsmanship, and quitting the arena with one heart. He had already fascinated him; it was a pity he had always thought he was just an ordinary woman. Their story is the same as the love story in ordinary movies: beautiful and slowly paving the way. But it is different: they are not simply good friends, but appreciate each other and share interests, or this is the bosom friend. He didn't say anything and continued to be a beauty in his mind; he also really wanted to take her to hermitage (this Linghu Chong is indeed very interesting). But (there are always too many buts in the story), he can't forget the major event of rebellion, there are too many "guts" in the rivers and lakes. So he dedicated Shishi to him; but he thought she was Shishi. This time, they were closer, but it still didn't know the truth. Moreover, he didn't know that she was the legendary "big villain" Dongfang Invincible.
The beautiful "love story" begins to turn at the moment when he knows that he is undefeated in the east. Now he is the protagonist. He began to wonder whether he liked "Eastern Invincible" or "Shi Shi"? At this time, he also really became a woman; unfortunately, he knew the truth. Too many grievances in the arena have turned them against each other. Life and death have fate, and grudges must always be settled. When the two sides were at a critical moment, her heart softened, and she couldn't bear to kill him; but he accidentally stabbed her with a sword. The sword was too heavy, and even though it was on the right side, her heart ached. He turned out to be her villain! She wanted him to suffer more: so she wanted to kill two other women he loved. At the moment of life and death, he saved her and only asked: Was it her that night? She doesn't answer and jumps off the cliff. She wants him to remember her forever and never know the truth.
This is the end of the story, but my thinking has not stopped. Throughout the whole story, Dongfang Invincible has always been "heroes are so lonely since ancient times", and later they rarely met bosom friends but couldn't cry their hearts out. Instead, everything ends up being lost. As the line said: People are rivers and lakes, how can you quit? Perhaps only when Dongfang is undefeated can he truly withdraw from the arena.
So where is the undefeated East in the east, which leads to such a tragic life? First, emotional issues. In many martial arts dramas, it is said that if a husband is a big deal, he can't care about the longevity of his children. Dongfang Invincible has already made up his mind, why did he fall in love with Linghu Chong at first sight? Perhaps this is what human nature is, given by God, who can change it? I remember when "The Wind and Clouds Rise", Dongfang Invincible fell in love with women again.
Second, the issue of retaliation. In negative terms, the undefeated revenge of the East is too big, too far, or in the wrong direction. He could have taken Shishi away from the hustle and bustle, and who cares about the world, I will pay you and you will pay me? Don't study the sunflower collection, don't make achievements, don't pursue too much, and don't think too much. Or just hold this ordinary mentality, and stand the ordinary is extraordinary!
Third, the screenwriter problem. In fact, there is no success or failure at all, no tragic comedy, no emotional destiny, it is all made up. For what, the writers don't know. Even the screenwriter could not have imagined that the box office would be so high and the audience would think so much. At this point, I have completely lost myself. Whose problem is it? I'm a little messed up, who's going to tell me?
Too many problems, too many contradictions. All kinds of guesses, who did the Eastern Invincible lose to? What do you think?
