In terms of the current level of film technology, it is actually not difficult to shoot a hot and intense action movie. What is difficult is to correctly and reasonably handle the relationship between the action scenes and the storyline. The director handles this very well. Yes, at least it doesn't make people feel that there is any serious conflict between the two.
It's not uncommon for action movies to put together a big-name lineup (big old names), and what's rare (recently like "The Expendables") is that almost everyone can make the most of them. I mean, at least each of them "acted normally".
Based on the above two points, the director succeeded!
At least it made me happy to watch and I didn't feel like I was spending an idle afternoon in vain.
