In the face of love, everything can be understood and tolerated

Since I have never been exposed to such films before, when I first started watching "Becoming Romeo", I was completely confused and puzzled. The protagonist Lukas in the movie was originally a girl, but he liked girls and decided to change sex to become a boy. However, in the process of transformation, even he himself did not expect that he fell in love with Fabio, a sexy and handsome guy who takes all men and women.
So I wondered, is Lukas now Les, Gay or Straight? ! He was originally a Les, but he fell in love with a boy, that is, he was straightened; but he is no longer a girl physically, and now he likes Fabio, then he is gay... And obviously not only me , the protagonist Lukas is also troubled, thus falling into the quagmire of identity and unable to extricate himself. His best friend Ine asked him a question for all the audience: Since he likes boys, why should he be transgender?
This confusion and confusion haunted the protagonist and the audience until Lukas came to a nightclub and saw a drag queen singing loudly on the stage... I was completely fascinated by this scene, it was really wonderful, ex One second Lukas was discriminated and ridiculed by Fabio, and the next second he saw the drag queen sitting on the stage so proudly, gracefully and calmly, ignoring the ridicule of people and conquering the audience with her singing. The corners of Lukas' mouth turned slightly, and I finally understood. Nowadays, it is often said that in the face of love, gender does not matter. And "Becoming Romeo" is actually just pushing the same gender issue to an extreme, and the mistake I made is that I'm still trying to classify love, Les, Gay, Bi, Straight... Category does not exist.

"Becoming Romeo" is very delicate and true to the character modeling and psychological portrayal of the protagonist, and there are several scenes that can easily make Gay and Les feel the heart. And Lukas and Fabio's rivalry is also very exciting, whether it's the ambiguous spark in the eyes of the two who accidentally touched their fingertips, or the two naively irritating each other in the elevator. Such a delicate narrative allows the audience to gradually accept such an extraordinary love. Also commendable is that the director did not deliberately avoid Lukas' bisexual body. To be honest, when Lukas first exposed his upper body and shriveled sagging breasts, I had a sense of psychological resistance, and at the end, the selfish Fabio was finally in bed. Taking off Lukas' clothes, I also felt the irreversible and irresistible power contained in love.

"Becoming Romeo" tells the story of a Les transgender who became gay, and still conveys the same themes of understanding and inclusiveness of similar films. "Becoming Romeo" used such an extreme story to make the audience puzzled at first, and finally made them enlightened and found that they could be more tolerant.
I'm so glad I saw this movie.
