Why don't we get what we want?

Came across this movie by accident.
I didn't expect it to be such a great movie.
Needless to say, the actors' superb acting skills, rich plots, warm scenes, nice music, and classic lines, just the inspiration of my attitude towards life brought by a simple dialogue in the movie has benefited me a lot.
The inspiration I said came from the protagonist Jerry Maguire and his only client, the second-rate football player Rod, who quarreled with each other. When excited, Jerry Maguire told Rod the opinion that he had been holding in his heart, why you have no money to 10,000,000 contract? You use your brain on the field, not your heart. You use your heart, not your brain, in your private life. On the court, you only think about who has treated you badly. When you make a mistake, you always want to blame someone, who failed to pass the ball well, who has more contracts than you, and who is sorry for you. That's not motivating. All you have to do is shut your mouth and play with your heart. This is how you reach your perfection!
I don't know if I took it out of context, but I was inspired by this quote: Why in life we don't get what we want, because when we switch to our hearts, we use our brains, and when we should use our brains, we use our hearts.
We have too many demands in life, and we have already spent our energy on insignificant things before we do anything. We must focus on our work and career, grasp the main contradiction, know the crux of the problem, do it with heart, pursue it, and we can get what we want!
As the movie's plot goes, Rod gets pissed off, concentrates on football, gets media attention for his outstanding performance, and finally gets a contract that exceeds his expectations.
Hehe, a movie is a movie after all, life is more cruel than it is, the pursuit of excellence, everything will follow you!
COME ON!My man! !
