I didn't even know it was a little scary until I saw it. I especially liked the soundtrack at the beginning of the film, it really hits the spot - a serene Christmas carol. At this time, the stepfather is shaving his beard leisurely in the bathroom, and the audience is immersed in a state of relaxing and waiting for the film to unfold. However, the stepfather's behavior of changing the color contact lenses and the "sleeping" family members in the bedroom all left us with a trace of doubt and unease. The bloody knives in the sink immediately gave us a visual impact, a kind of Wordless fear came to my heart, and the director's skill was enough to see. At this moment, the image of a murderous pervert came into view. After just a few minutes of performance, it was amazing!
