"Puzzles Don't Matter"

A lot of people have a problem with watching horror movies, that is, they must figure out why the horror occurs. This breaks the spirit of asking the bottom of the casserole, and it is easy to over-explain. Disappearing on Seventh Street is bound to suffer the same fate, as it has an open structure and story. An open-ended story, you can't trace where it came from, it's like a short story, it just shows you a segment or a link. If you want to know the ins and outs, you might as well just watch the episodes. In terms of creating the most important atmosphere of horror movies, "Disappearing on Seventh Street" is very familiar, and the fear of the darkness itself is the origin of horror. The black child died in the projectionist's mind, and he witnessed the projectionist's death in reality. This design is very intentional. The accidental death of the male protagonist and the joining of the last two children have given the story a complete structure. It's brilliant enough precisely because it doesn't tell you "why."
