A classic collection!

A film I made when I was four years old and still timeless when I watched it when I was 25. This is a classic, even if the picture is not very clear, but the plot, concept and technology are still admirable!

Although the plot might be a bit of a pity for fans who want to appreciate Alien, and it does get a little sluggish ahead. But the technical sophistication and the emotional ups and downs of the characters have always attracted me.

Actually, my favorite is the theme of the movie: "When you explore the abyss, the abyss also explores you". This is a gentle warning to the sometimes arrogant and murderous human beings. It's not just about peace, it's about thinking about racial harmony. When we treat other races with occupation or hostility, how do they view us? ! Do I want swords to face each other? !

So, on this subject, the height of the movie is different from some stunt movies. Of course, who called the director Cameron!

Cameron is a good project manager and not a good director, otherwise why would he always make such a big-picture movie of a didactic nature. The claustrophobic space of the whole film and the whole underwater scene are absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere of the Cold War is also very tense. The rhythm is very similar to the short soap operas in the parents. In the end, the drama of the people under the sea being moved by love is directly pulled to a level. So Cameron is completely a qualified project manager, suitable for completing such a huge film project, but there is a lot of depth in the theme concept.

    1. The part about saving the heroine is too powerful. 2. Cameron is the only person in the world who can tell such beautiful and childish fairy tales with such a generous hand. 3. This film is really hard to play, so I played three paragraphs, one of which is dubbed in Mandarin.

The Abyss quotes

  • Virgil: [about Lindsey] She didn't leave me. She just left me behind.

  • Lindsey Brigman: I saw these things. I touched one of them. And... It wasn't some clunky steel can... like we would build. It glided. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Oh, God, I wish you'd been there. It was a machine. It was a machine, but it was alive. It was like a... like a dance of light. Please. You have to trust me. Now, I don't think they mean us any harm. I don't know how I know that. It's just... a feeling.
