"Unidentified" still shines

Although "Bourne's Identity" is in front, "Unidentified" still shines, especially in the first two scenes of the film. The story of identity recognition has long been fatigued. The routine of this kind of story is: the protagonist does not know who he is, and searches for himself with the audience; in the final analysis, this movie is also looking for himself, but the director has skillfully diverted the audience's attention. Moving the protagonist from not knowing who he is to the perspective of knowing who he is but unable to prove who he is, creates a refreshing story atmosphere.
The film is full of suspense, but it has a fatal flaw: As a Saudi prince who has been subjected to multiple death threats and assassinations, his security agents don't seriously verify the identities of the people the prince is about to meet. This is impossible in reality, this is the most basic background investigation. The protagonist of the story is a scientist who will give an opening speech at an international academic conference. There is no doubt that he should be a well-known figure. How can such a person be made out of thin air? Identity can be faked, but academic achievements cannot be faked, especially since the participants in this academic conference are all elites in the industry, and the organizer of the conference is a Nobel Prize-winning scientist. Will they be fooled by a non-existent colleague? In addition, the prince's security personnel have various channels to verify the identity of the protagonist. In fact, even an ordinary netizen can find the truth through Google and search the paper database. Due to this defect, the whole story building is not strong.
In addition, even if a person loses his memory, his values will not change. It has already become a part of himself and integrated into his humanity. The so-called bad people become good people after amnesia is completely wishful thinking. But anyway, it's still a movie worth watching.
