Flirting with Loss - Life in the Water

I personally like this kind of boring and humorous films.

Wes Anderson, the director of "Life in the Water", seems to have made a total of four films so far, and I have only watched the last two, namely "The Royal Tenenbaums" and this "Life in the Water". Interestingly, I'm obsessed with his kind of rambunctious, kind of rascal, kind of indifferent, kind of serious tone. This may be a little bit like watching what you do, probably because most of the good friends in my life are long-lasting and have this kind of temperament. Watching this kind of movie will make me miss these friends of mine.

"The Genius Family / The Royal Tenenbaums" uses a very boring way to outline a typical picture of a middle-class American family that is detached. To be honest, it is very different from our national conditions. In most cases, it is difficult to find resonance in the film. . However, if you take a closer look, you can easily feel a family warmth. This reminds me of an old song by Yu Chengqing, which seems to be roughly like this: It doesn't matter if I lose you and win the world. If you have a home, you have everything.

"Life in the Water" is still very boring like the previous work, but it seems to me that it is wise and sophisticated. Look at the exaggerated red "nightcap", the light blue "pajamas" and the "Z" sign on the side of the uniform, and look at the colorful The "sea creatures" that are so beautiful that they are divorced from reality actually imply Bill Murray's departure from real life.

Because of this, Bill Murray, in his heart, hated his father and did not want to be a father himself, so for many years, although he loved his rich wives, he had no children; now suddenly an object that claimed to be his son appeared. , he has always struggled with doubts and anxiety; he clearly likes the big-bellied reporter, but he chooses to "flirt" in a sarcastic and taunting way. At the end, what is actually left is an old and simple warning: Does cherishing have to happen after loss?
