—— "How do people remember" (Xu Ben)
1984, East Germany, the secret police, writers, actors... I thought "The Story of Others" was going to tell a cruel and true story, what Arendt called "a mediocre evil" "s story.
Who thought it actually created a soft dream.
This is a movie about the possibility of goodness: Will there be such a goodness that can survive the extreme harshness of evil and suffering? Does it have the power to save others when it saves itself? Can it transcend all obstacles and maintain its true qualities?
The film lyrically said: There is indeed such a kind of goodness, and there is indeed such a power.
So the well-trained secret police Wisler can be moved by the writer, so he can desperately help the "unknown" writer Dreman, so good people can wait until the Berlin Wall falls, and then Dreman is in "Sonata for Good People" The title page sensationally dedicated the book to Wisler.
Although the background of the story is scarier than hell, the story itself is like heaven.
It's just that we know that this is not the case.
Our own history can tell clearly: totalitarian killing, killing the victim also kills the perpetrator, and killing the flesh also kills the moral. Anyone who survived the catastrophe can't afford "Sonata for Good People".
We know that there is kindness in harsh environments, but we also know that kindness is definitely not the relaxed and gentle form shown in the film. The good at that time was violent, even distorted.
We know that this kind of rescue and successful rescue story is as unrealistic as a fairy tale.
The story of Wisler and Dreman is beautiful, but not credible. The most credible is Dreman’s girlfriend, who clearly shows the blurring of the boundary between the victim and the perpetrator under totalitarian conditions.
However, I was firmly attracted, precisely because of its "uncredibility."
Many times, we are extremely willing to believe in stories that we know are not credible.
We are still willing to believe that human nature is good, and believe that there will be a moral home of honey and milk in any place and in any era.
We are still willing to believe that life is important and precious, not only because of those trivial ties and desires, but also because of our longing for happiness and reason.
The world is getting dark, but we still want to believe that there is always a moment when the sun can rise from the sky and shine on the people who have been waiting for it-even if we are no longer in the crowd, we can start from here Salvation in this belief.
Movies can be divided into two types, one tells us reality, and the other tells us faith. "The Story of Others" is obviously the latter.
It is indeed not a far-reaching movie, but it tells us that goodness can be saved, and individual thinking can constitute the final moral bottom line.
This is a movie dedicated to good people.
Every day is September early autumn melancholy
those trees straight toward the sky
like a love robust growth of
the head is blue sky
floating in the sky a white cotton-like clouds
and hearts as long as you have faith
it will never Will leave you
