Men also have prenatal anxiety

I have had a lot of fun playing Rotten Tomatoes these days. Due Date was rated as rotten, but I still watch it with a neutral attitude. After watching the movie, I personally confirmed that: This trailer was made like Due Date, which is a hilarious comedy, but it is not funny at all.

The two characters of Peter and Ethen are very distinctive. These two people get together. In the case of a comedy, it should be full of jokes and joy, but the whole film is hard to laugh at. The trouble is that my emotions have become complicated. At most, this film tells the audience in real life, whether you are Peter or Ethen, how incompatible you will be when you encounter such a thing, and whether you will feed on the inherently bad shortcomings and so on.

So after watching about half of it, I stopped watching Due Date as a comedy for the remaining half. A pure feature film, I think it is more suitable for the classification of this movie. The director's Ethen is very successful, weird, tender, and difficult to get along with, taking care of the various aspects of the character; on the contrary, Peter has a much flatter personality, except for a period in the play that was dragged by Ethen into the water. Almost all angry.

I think the reason why Due Date is not funny is that when we sat down and watched it with a bellyful of anticipation, we discovered that this was actually a work that didn't catch the audience's taste. The personality comparison between the two protagonists should be the most interesting subject, but the laughing point is unexpectedly old; when they are getting used to enjoying how bad these two people are, they suddenly insert emotional clips. This mixed mood is really weird.

I think the director has magnified the personal shortcomings of Peter and Ethen in the film. Peter is serious and irritable. Ethen's behavior is exaggerated and his back-legging force is also very strong. However, this magnification did not make the comedy more comedy. I have to say that Peter and Ethen are really annoying, although when I first saw it, I felt that my personality was biased towards Peter, and from the bottom of my heart I felt that Peter was decayed. But after Peter got angry several times and humiliated Ethen too much, I also began to feel that this guy deserved it.

In terms of plot, it's pretty good. Despite all the chaos, it ended in a peaceful manner. Ethen put his father's ashes in the coffee pot and Peter's anxiety about the birth of the child. The two threads are intertwined, weaving a rhythmic and slightly moving variation. Unfortunately, on the part of the laughter, it always pulls me out of the situation after hard work.

I think if you change some more advanced stalks, this work will have more weight. Even so, the soundtrack of this film is full of my heart.

Postscript:
RDJ This work is the same as Iron Man 2, but neither is very satisfied. In other words, it is a pity that most of the dissatisfaction has nothing to do with the acting skills of the actor. Due Date is a laughing point and wasting Zach Galifianakis' acting skills-after "Drunk Man", Zach Galifianakis should be able to challenge more advanced and novel jokes That's right; RDJ's sneer at the craftsmanship is not fully utilized in this film.

In addition to this, RDJ's appearance in the film is not more eye-catching than Zach Galifianakis, and the audience who is looking at RDJ will not be disappointed. Of course, I personally think that the style in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is more attractive.

Peter Highman: I just had the strangest dream. It's Friday. We're at the hospital. But it's not a hospital, it's a, a, a forest of sorts. And I know that because right next to you there's a bear. A grizzly, cooling his feet in a stream. And all of a sudden, you begin to deliver, and I can't get to you. But the bear can. And the next thing I know, he is holding our beautiful baby boy. And here's where it gets odd. Uh, he chews the cord. But, strangely, I'm okay with it. That's gotta be a good sign.
