earth has thunder and nowhere to find it. If you have to say that it is the sound of gunshots echoing over the west, it is too far-fetched.
I think the film is too far-fetched. The confession appeared in the first meeting of the little girl Matyros with Jeff Bridges.
Rose slapped the beard and said that he has true courage,
"They say you are True Grit"
. As the story develops,
we discover The true courage is not in Bridges nor in the Texas Mounted Police played by Matt Damon
. It is the courage in Rose that supports them to find "Chaney".
Many people say that this Cohen Brothers movie is a bit boring to watch.
I do n’t know for a long time. I think they’re saying that this movie doesn’t have a “hard core”-a word that has become popular recently lacks a meaning.
Some people say that this movie is not much like a “Cohen movie.” It’s really obvious. Feeling this change in style,
"Cohen-style" humor and surprise are nowhere to be found in this movie, replaced by plain shots and calm narration. The
first "Cohen movie" I saw was "The Three Kings of Prison" later, out of control off and looked almost all of their films
now comes to "O Brother" close my eyes I can see eyeful golden sunlight
prison uniform dashing Clooney grubby humming a folk village south of the shuttle In the wheat fields of Mississippi...
I think it was the "golden age" of the Coen brothers.
They showed off their skills in every movie like naughty kids showing off the toys they just bought.
I can still do it now. Recalling the splendid "Escape" and the cold humor in "Ice and Blood Storm"
The blackness and wisdom in "The Gangster Dragon Lake Fight"
until later in "Serious Man" The
brothers seemed to be tired of all the toys.
They suddenly abandoned all the skills and humor and
only talked about the ordinary family in an ordinary town. mundane chores
if you are new to these films is almost impossible to appreciate the humor knowing that they will be watching and confused
from the beginning of the film they seem to deliberately hide their skills
only focus on telling a "true" story
This kind of truth is different from reality and some even seem absurd (just like "True Grit" and "Old Nowhere", it is impossible for this to happen in the American West today).
They gave up giving the story a moral and just tried to create a "real existence" The
real world needs no explanation
because it contains everything.
What a fellowship what a joy divine
Leaning on the everlasting arms
What a blessedness what a peace is mine
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning leaning
Safe and secure from all alarms
Leaning leaning
Leaning on the everlasting arms
