The more research I did and the more we wrote the series, the more I said, 'God, it hasn't changed a bit.'”
So, based on what Winter had said, I did some digging about 1921 Atlantic City. This list of speculations does not discuss the season finale, or where we left off Nucky and the rest of the gang. This I will do later, when some more spoilers will reach my machine..
Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Speculations◦Since the most important thing happening in 1921 in Atlantic City was the first Miss America contest, I bet this event will be included. It is also said that the mayor, Edward Bader loved this idea and pushed it.
◦Still with mayor Edward Bader, he was a big fan of boxing and a close friend with Boxing champion Jack Dempsey. I don't expect to see much of boxing on the show, but perhaps this could have some use to the show's writers.
◦The Ritz opened in 1921, and Nucky will use the place for his parties. The man Nucky's character is based on actually moved to live in The Ritz, and I wonder if we see that too, and does it mean he'll spend less and less time with Margaret and the kids.
