Can we still hear Christmas bells?

At Christmas, I watched a movie, "The Polar Express," and read a book, "My Dear Sweet Orange Tree."

When I watched the movie "The Polar Express", it always made people laugh at the end: Dad picked up the little bell that Santa Claus gave, shook it, and there was no sound. However, when the two children picked up the small bell and shook it, they heard the crisp and pleasant sound of "Ding Lingling"! However, after laughing, I feel regret: when we grow up, can we really hear the Christmas bell? Have you really lost the joy of childhood? This movie gives us a chance to return to our childhood.

I remembered the end of "My Dear Sweet Orange Tree", the little sweet orange tree that once gave the little protagonist Zeze infinite surprises and tenderness, could talk and listen to his troubles, the first flower bloomed. After the little white flower, it turned into an ordinary little tree with thorns all over its body-every time I read this, I always shed tears for the tender and joyful childhood I once had. Zeze is only 5 years old, and he has become an "adult" who can't hear Christmas bells like us, and can't understand Xiaoshu's whisper. So sometimes I think, like Peter Pan, never grow up, always listen to the Christmas bells, always whisper to the little tree, how wonderful it would be!

Merry Christmas to everyone! May you all have a pair of ears that can hear the Christmas bells!

To be honest, I don't like the didactic elements in it. I write about children from an adult's perspective, and use a shit bell as a metaphor for innocence, which is too sensational! I've never been interested in bells, I'm only interested in chocolate, toys!

It's a pity that the content of the original book was overwhelmed by gorgeous and empty pictures. I was going to give a very poor score, but after thinking about it, there is a good idea as a foundation, so encourage it!

The Polar Express quotes

  • The Boy: Is everything all right? What do we do?

The Conductor: Well, considering that we have lost communication with the engineer, and are standing totally exposed on the front of the locomotive, and the train seems to be accelerating, uncontrollably, not to mention that we are headed to Glacier Gulch, which just happens to be the steepest downhill grade in the world, I suggest we all hold on... TIGHTLY!

[the train plunges down the VERY steep downhill tracks and accelerates rapidly]

  • The Boy: [after sounding the train whistle] I've wanted to do that my whole life!
