recently indulged myself in the lecture given by Mr. Dai Jinhua. The story of vampires interprets a vast world from the dual combination of culture and reality. After reading "Don't Enter the Unknown", I saw Dai Lao's world and my own fame.
The fascinating thing about European cinema is that it differs from the traditional Hollywood blockbuster narrative style. Whether it's "Trainspotting", "Romance", or the works of many European filmmakers, the literary and artistic atmosphere is very flooded, and there is less Hollywood cliché and less Hollywood reality.
"Never Enter" is worth recommending. Whether it wins an award or not, the narrative of the story, the construction of the picture, the perfect structure, the classic soundtrack, and even the feeling of murmured lines in the formula of the exclusive male protagonist, make up the very charming atmosphere of this film.
Critics in Europe say it's serene, innocent, and warm, creating a cinematic atmosphere that a vampire movie couldn't possibly have. It is true that two children who are only twelve years old in appearance cannot be separated from their innocent feelings, although accompanied by death, killing and the inexplicable weird social atmosphere in the adult world, this cross-racial "puppy love" is extraordinarily warm.
However, in fact, under the appearance of "puppy love", there is a "forgetting love" hidden. During this period, the childish stubbornness and the unique expression of love words belonging to children's voices are very interesting and endearing. It's another addictive romance when Morse code conveys love words between people and vampires.
But when entering this narrative story, this "pure" feeling is questionable. Eli wasn't so much loving Oskar as he was taming him. While love itself is essentially a domestication, the domestication relationship between Eli and Oskar takes a prospect of a more deformed direction. Eli's original companion, who is hard to ignore, kept killing for Eli's life-although they were all unsuccessful killings, and even chose to disfigure before being caught in order not to expose Eli. In the end, he sacrificed his life to Eli. The synopsis says that this is Eli's father, but a vampire who has passed by for an unknown number of years has a normal middle-aged father? This is more of a prophecy for when Oskar grows up. This is nothing but Eli's previous "Oskar".
In the long life of vampires, there are countless human lovers, and the sincerity of love cannot be denied because of the large number. Even if this disfigured man is a dark allegory of the fate of Oskar when he grows up, there is still no doubt about the authenticity and purity of Eli and Oskar's love. Some love itself has a certain meaning of surrender, and Eli also showed a certain determination to Oskar.
The love at this moment is so beautiful, and it is even more warm and flawless in the bloody pictures and condensed music. Although what will the future love be like? Submissive, totally numb? Seeing that Eli fell in love with the second Oskar, and became the man who had entered middle age and was struggling to bury the body?
Time is so cruel, and fate just chose me and you. LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. The
vampire's immortality is in the dark or it becomes more and more shining as it moves towards the light. But after listening to the lecture and watching the movie, I am still glad that I am a passive person who lives to death. If the period is controlled by oneself, if there is no absolute and insurmountable end in life, it is actually a very scary thing. When the long night has passed, what remains unchanged is the monotonous repetition.
Compared to Eli, Oskar had a forced death after all.
This is a beautiful, bloody, peaceful, tender, pure, dark, cruel movie.
It has the usual perfect rhythm of European literary and artistic films, as
well as very classic soundtracks and shooting shots,
and even its editing and the use of some film expression techniques are also very good.
I was particularly fascinated by the Oskar-esque lines, the slurred mumbles, the simple monosyllables. Shape this boy's unique temperament. He is timid and has a dark yearning for killing; he is simple and loving, but also cruel to his lover and sophistication at certain moments.
