Existence and future

Burned books, collapsed buildings, and people who die in front of you, catching up with the death within a short distance, the splendor and civilization of mankind can be destroyed so easily. This is a desperate film. The ending of the film feels a bit far-fetched. After the disaster, everything is calm. The president also repented of human behavior and expressed a kind of hope, but that kind of pain cannot be easily calmed by this kind of hope. I think if the ending is like this: Jack finds Sen and the others, and then the camera rolls out. The whole world covered in snow is desolate and quiet... Will it be more impactful?
Suddenly I feel that the future is not so important. The important thing is that you have existed, and this existence is not so easy to be wiped out.
