A Brief Commentary on The Secret Service vs The Expendables

Don't comment on the Expendables, just make a simple comparison, I prefer the two films.
I watched this film from a friend's book by accident, and I didn't pay much attention to the promotion of this film, but it was boring when I watched it, I just thought it was a low-cost shootout film, so I just watched it. When I first saw it, I felt that this film was unusual. The more I watched it, the more enjoyable it became. The rhythm of the whole film was smooth and compact. When I was watching it, I suddenly thought of the Expendables I went to the cinema to watch before. I felt that two films of the same type were more worth watching. Not to mention savoring things carefully, I personally feel that this film is better in terms of rough senses. The plot and time-space connection are more reasonable. The death squad feels like Rambo and his comrades who do not belong to this era are fighting in modern times. The members are more in line with the characteristics of the agents of this era, more intelligent, and geniuses with personality defects. Although some tactics and operations are exaggerated, they are more reasonable and more enjoyable than the death squad in the use of resourcefulness and combat capabilities.
Funny and humorous, hot scenes, the captain's super self-confidence and wisdom, the running-in and contradictions among the team members, a group of secret agents will also be calculated, there is no head-to-head confrontation like the death squad, which is abruptly outnumbered and weak. It is a combination of wit and martial arts.
Not to mention the details, this kind of film is all about the fun and exciting scenes, and the smooth game. Overall, it is very good.

Extended Reading

I really shouldn’t choose to watch the extended version, a pair of procrastinating boring plots, disrupting the coherent refreshment.

The plot is tightly connected, and it can be seen that the editing has done a lot of work. Although there is a relatively lack of logic and rigor in some bridges, it is still a rare example of an action movie: all kinds of racing cars, Biao planes, Biao stunts, especially tanks to fight planes, planes to hide Missiles are cool to watch; Neeson's deep voice, Cooper's handsomeness, and the blasting scenes like Call of Duty add a lot of color to the film.

The A-Team quotes

  • German Doctor #2: [during Murdock's electroshock therapy] He seems completely impervious to it. It's impossible to develop a base reading.

German Doctor #1: Have you increased the voltage?

German Doctor #2: Every single session, yes.

    German Doctor #1: And?

    [2nd doctor points]

Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock: Is that all you got? Here we go.

    [voltage is increased, laughing]

    Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock: Yeehaw!

[Generator burns out and the room turns black]

Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock: Yeah, I think I might've felt something there.

  • Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock: [in the falling tank] It's been a pleasure serving with you, gentlemen. The greatest ride is the last ride, Colonel!
