horror anatomy room

Now the classification of movies is a bit blurry. Does this category belong to horror movies? It's not scary, it's just a typical European and American kind that is a bit bloody and it's not scary. Let's call it a crime drama. After passing that rebellious age, I don’t like such movies that have no thematic significance, such as [Zodiac (2007)] (this is not bad, because it is based on a true story), such as [Funny Games US ( 2007)]. Another example is this [Terrorist Anatomy Room], what's the point? It's okay to look at the moment, it's a little interesting, but it's too disgusting and perverted; the killing method is good, but how to arrange it, how can no one find out, the explanation can't stand scrutiny, and it's a bit rough. Many geniuses in the movie are so perverted (of course there are also normal inspirational ones, which is very pleasing).

Taking off these bloody dissections is actually a group of rebellious young people who have played the game too much, and then because women are a disaster, they are jealous, and they set themselves on fire. Of course, the male protagonist is still like the old movie mode. As a human being, he didn't feel very happy, because he himself was actually quite perverted.

It's just that the explanations in many places are not perfect enough to withstand scrutiny. It's a pity. I hope that the Korean director can remake it and improve it and supplement it with the theme of oriental philosophy. I look forward to it.

Strong scientific knowledge and the erotic and bloody perversions that all kinds of B-grade films should have is still relatively to my taste, but it is not enough to watch

This film overly shows off the ability of the genius medical student Gray, let them kill at will and analyze the cause of death, but finally let the person who has turned bad kill the bad guy again, staged a revenge drama. The characters are pale, the background of the story is empty, and there is nothing more special and memorable except for corpses and exaggerated genius-style death analysis and child-like fighting.

Pathology quotes

  • [last lines]

Ted Grey: Dr. Stravinsky, let's take a look inside.

  • Dr. Quentin Morris: [giving lecture] As pathologists, you will learn the nature of disease and it's causes, it's processes, development, and consequences. But far far more than that. I like to think of the pathologist as offering a window to god, if you will. Now, it may be said that pathology is the study of all things human, save the soul of course. But it is in that particular branch of pathology known as forensics, that we will delve into what it means to be inhuman. You will see the perversion, the corruption of the flesh by all means unnatural. And then we will work backwards, always back to that original pristine design, to determine the affecting cause of death.
