I really like Heat, first of all because of the texture of the street shootout inside. The look of the police car being filled with bullet holes is super enjoyable. Secondly, because of the portrayal of the characters. The characters inside are too impressive. Finally, what I like is the delicate feelings between men and women. Although it was not the love at first sight of handsome men and beauties like Titanic, it was also a life-and-death parting that was hard to give up later.
These three points are once again fully reflected in The Town.
Let’s talk about the shootout first. There were a total of two large-scale gun battles, which lasted very long. The sound effect is very shocking, and the bullet is full of texture, sonorous and powerful, which touches the heartstrings. Compared with Heat, it is worse than Heat.
Let's talk about the portrayal of characters. The one I admire the most is Jeremy Renner. He is really full of aura. Very intense, like a dynamite bag from beginning to end. This role is the most memorable in many movies I have seen. Ben Affleck changed his past custard's face, and he was a complete Boston Irish bastard in his words and deeds. Several young guys of Irish descent in our company are all very high-spirited after watching the film, and they want to wear a "I Love Boston" T-shirt to work. The FBI policeman, like Al Pacino on the Heat facade, is very aggressive, very birdy, and very smart and very experienced at the same time. The image of this old truncheon portrayed a three-pointer. Generally speaking, the pros and cons are both pros and cons, and there are pros and cons in the opposite, and they are mixed together.
Finally, the relationship between men and women is also very similar to the relationship between Robert De Niro and the girl in Heat. It was dull at first, but then I found out that the other person was the one I wanted to be with. In the end, the episode where the heroine called Ben Affleck under FBI monitoring was also the same as the episode where Ashley Judd called in Heat, haha.
Overall, this is a very enjoyable film, of course, provided that you like Heat. If you don't like Heat, you probably won't like The Town. (But I can't imagine why I don't like Heat, ha ha).
