Feeling after reading

I used to hate watching war movies, although I have seen a lot of them, but most of them are fighting and killing without soul. It may have been misled by many American movies, exalted heroism, exaggerated scenes, raging fires, similar to the same thing, and it is disgusting to watch.

Richard Armitage used to be a little-known musical actor, and his stage performances could not go on. Instead, he studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Drama (LAMDA). The late bloomer has only reached the peak of his career in recent years, and many are familiar with him starting with the BBC's north & south. It is undeniable that Richard's explosive performance in this play is really amazing.

British war films are relatively rare. Compared with American dramas, I prefer the British way of thinking, subtle and profound expressions. The movie unfolds in 2 lines. The first line: From the very beginning of the hostage extraction, I left a question about whether Collinson killed those two comrades. Subsequent operations have been carried out on this route, showing Porter living a life of self-reproach for seven years, putting aside his family's repeated participation in section 20 military operations and being stuck by Collinson. In the end, he found out that his comrade-in-arms was really killed by Collinson, and he was full of remorse. He just wanted to ask for an admission from Collinson. I just admire Porter's big-heartedness as portrayed in movies and novels, while Collinson is wretched with Frank (my favorite, Toby Stephens). Also I don't think Porter is perfect. After his wife died, he hooked up with a colleague. I like the realism, no one is as perfect as the American TV shows.

Of course, another line is to describe the war between the United States and the United Kingdom in Afghanistan and Iraq. The thinking is quite traditional, because the United States has been widely known for continuously fostering opposition forces in the war and hoping to obtain benefits through them. So you can't avoid occasionally shooting yourself in the foot with a rock. The most famous is of course Saddam, who was also supported by the United States a long time ago. The film also satirizes contemporary politicians through several small storylines.

Many people are reluctant to face the reality. We live in such a world, full of conspiracies, people use each other, and the same is true between countries. No permanent friends, only permanent interests.
