Bruno wants his ex-girlfriend Laura back to him. Although the two still maintain a physical relationship, Pablo, who likes photography, is her justifiable boyfriend. Bruno's plan A was to tell Laura his idea directly, but of course he was rejected; and he heard that Pablo likes new things to pursue excitement, so he dared to come up with a crazy plan B to seduce Pablo to bend him.
Bruno is a person who likes to make puns and is also very boring. For example, he asked Pablo what you would like to be if you could become a toy. Pablo said that he wanted a plastic bucket worth only 20 pesos, and Bruno immediately took out 20 pesos and said , then I bought you, and you are mine now. It's not that Bruno did it on purpose, but the two really have similar temperaments. They like to sit on the grass in the corner in a daze, they like to take pictures of the sunset, and they like the appetizing series Blinde. They lie on the bed wearing only pants. I think they do a lot of boring things together. Later, Bruno fell in love with Pablo unconsciously. He would kiss him by joking. He would turn around and hug Pablo after falling asleep in the middle of the night, watching him with eyes full of love. In order to succeed in the plan, Bruno finally resorts to the killer, a love letter and a gift to make Pablo chaos. A few days later Pablo asked Bruno to come to his house and said he wanted to have sex with him, to see if it was as good as their kiss or even better than that kiss, but the two were overwhelmed in embarrassment, and it was Pablo who offered to give up , and Bruno, who was a little joking, looked sad at this time. But he didn't know, in fact Pablo had seen through his plan and left Laura, he didn't get angry, he didn't take revenge because he really fell in love with him, Bruno didn't know either, after Pablo learned the truth, he was alone Lying on the bed holding the gift Bruno gave him, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes with disappointment.
Bruno reunited with Laura and finally couldn't let go of Pablo, so he left Laura and came to Pablo's house and finally said the words "I love you" with sincerity and courage. The unfinished adventure before the bedroom begins.
In fact, it is a very simple story, but the director put the narrative rhythm to the slowest, the purpose is to make the two people's love process convincing. There are many empty shots and no dialogue scenes in the film, and there are very few actors in the whole film. The rough picture quality makes the skin of the actors look dirty and ugly. What's interesting is that whenever the camera is aimed at an empty city or the protagonist wandering in the city, a dull tinnitus-like noise covers up all sounds, which almost becomes the only "soundtrack" in the whole film. The director is always creating this kind of empty and depressing atmosphere. Just like several characters in the film, they all mistake empty sex for love. Every conversation between Bruno and Laura, Pablo and his friend Ana happens on the bed after the incident. But sex is never love, which is why Bruno and Pablo are so passionate after confessing their love to each other after their first failed attempt to have sex. Perhaps what the director wants to say through this gay story is that sex is born of love and not the other way around.
The whole film is a bit dull but there are also small humor and small ambiguous, the biggest dissatisfaction is the superfluous ending.
PS: Argentina became the first country in Latin America and the tenth country in the world to legally recognize gay marriage on July 15 this year. Perhaps the birth of this Plan B was also for the previous campaign.
