Penélope Cruz's performance as a neurotic painter is flawless, proving that it's not just Pedro Almodóvar who knows how to shape her. Winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress wasn't lucky. It's a big mistake for Hollywood to think she's the vase all the time. Scarlett Johansson, in Woody Allen's third consecutive film as the female lead, continues to be the object of the director's sexual fantasies. Javier Bardem returns to the handsome man image, and the character's psychological struggles look good.
A delightful love movie. Looking forward to the director's new work.
