In St. Petersburg, Russia, four frivolous young people lived by reselling World War II cultural relics. An accidental tomb robbery experience brought them back from modern times to 1942. Of course, if you just watch this story, I think it's no different from other time travel movies. In the film, love is finally annihilated by artillery fire, comrades in arms are killed by the enemy's guns one by one, and combat heroes have been deserters all the time, and there is no fixed imagination of Gao Daquan. However, through the rich plot and detailed details, the film shows the ruthlessness and cruelty of war, which deeply shocked my heart. There are three scenes that stood out to me.
Act 1: The lieutenant who led four young men to scout the enemy camp, in order to cover their escape, fought one enemy to a hundred. Before saying goodbye, he turned his head and asked: "When will the war end?" The young man replied: "May 1945 9th". With longing for the victory of the motherland, the lieutenant heroically launched a one-man battle against the German army and died heroically.
Act 2: In the German building, the scout began to pretend to cough in order to cover the four young men who escaped successfully, and then sang aloud. The four crossed the German anti-lock line in his singing and kept breaking through until the singing stopped abruptly. . Another compatriot was killed by enemy guns!
Act Three: This is the climax and end of the film. When the nurse greeted several soldiers and carried the officer into the air defense command post, while the young man looked at the stopwatch at the gun pit in the distance, he shouted heart-rendingly, "Don't go in", but they still entered the command post , a historical scene repeated itself in front of the young people: a shell fell, and everyone in the command post survived! Knowing that disaster is about to happen to a loved one, but unable to return to the sky, this echoes the scene of opening the remains at the beginning of the film, but in the same scene, one is greedy and the other is like a knife!
This is the true face of war. There is no room for negotiation, only cruel reality. This is the power of history. Even if the outcome is known, it is still powerless to reverse it. Although the film obtains ideological insights through young people's experience of war, but for everyone who has been hurt by war, the scars can never be repaired.
