S1E08 abuser

useful to the plot:
Hotchner:. Your Mother Knew She Knew that of He Beat Every Day and you DID SHE Nothing to Help you And you Still Loved HER SHE Even though the let you GET Hurt, you.. loved her. And I wondered why. Why you didn't hate her. Then of course I realized that he beat her as much as he beat you.
Vincent Perotta: Don't talk about my mother.
Hotchner: You killed all these people , hundreds of them, and only one woman. That's what made you get sloppy, isn't it? Killing Mrs. DiMarco was hard. That's why you killed her first and you made it quick. I thought it was to establish dominance, but it wasn't.
Hotchner: (quietly) You were just responding to what you learned, Vincent. When you grow up in an environment like that, an extremely abusive, violent household, it's not surprising that some people grow up to become killers.
Vincent Perotta: Some people ?
Hotchner: What's that?
Vincent Perotta: You said 'some people' grow up to become killers.
Hotchner: And some people grow up to catch them.

Case Review: The
story takes place again in Baltimore, Maryland. First, a family of three was killed, including a gangster and his aunt and uncle. Except for the aunt who was killed by slitting his throat with a knife, the other two men were tortured inhumanly before they died, and the gangster was dismembered and discarded. BAU followed the clue of this gangster and found that the cause of the incident was the exposure of a police undercover policeman who had a lot of contact with this gangster. And this undercover agent has lost contact with the boss of the police station, and now he is in the hands of UNSUB.
Soon, BAU determined that UNSUB was a professional killer hired by the gang leader, but the problem was that he was also a psychopathic sadistic torturer. So the police found the dead gangster and the gang leader who was undercover. Using his psychology that he didn't want the people who helped him to act so high-profile and out of his control, he persuaded him to cooperate with the police and provided the killer's name.
The police caught UNSUB alive without any risk, but they haven't found the undercover agent yet. But Garcia couldn't find any information about UNSUB, no ID and no address, like a ghost living in the world. Hotch, who was nearly strangled to death by UNSUB during the capture process, bravely began his interrogation. Through the way he kills a woman, Hotch captures UNSUB's weak spot - his mother. Although he was cruel and unsympathetic from his father's abuse since he was a child, UNSUB still has feelings for his mother in his heart, so he can't start to torture women. And Garcia analyzed the audio track of the videotape of the killing process recorded by UNSUB and found that the place where he tortured the victim should be near the airport. Hotch finally got UNSUB to let go of his father's name. Garcia found out that his father died in a hunting accident 30 years ago, and his 17-year-old son was there, apparently it was not an accident. And this father's address is near the airport, it's not difficult to explain why UNSUB did this - he wants to return the suffering he has suffered in the same place to others.
In the end, in the house where UNSUB's father lived, the dying undercover agent was rescued. Hotch said those deep and powerful words to this UNSUB: When you grow up in an environment like that, an extremely abusive, violent household, it's not surprising that some people grow up to become killers. And some people grow up to catch them. (When you grow up in an extremely humiliating and violent family environment, it is inevitable that some people will grow up to be killers. Others will become their
catchers .) Famous saying:
Carl Jung said, "The healthy man does not torture others. Generally it is the tortured who turn into torturers." Grid (Swiss psychologist))
