Where does comedy come from

The most prominent symbol of the film is the "horseless" knight who uses coconut shells instead of riding a horse. As a low-cost film, it is extremely spoof, the value curve is like a nail, and it is a model of low-cost production. There are many scenes and a fast pace. Each scene has a tit-for-tat dialogue and conflict, which actually piece together a complete heroic adventure story.

-

Act One

1. The rigorous soldier: Arthur asked to see the lord, but the soldier asked regardless of where the coconut shell came from and what kind of swallow brought it, whether it was 1 swallow or 2 swallows;

2. The corpse collector: hand the living person to the corpse collector, and after a discussion, the living person will be stunned;

3. Leftist peasants: Arthur proclaimed his kingship, but the peasants deconstructed Arthur’s concept from the perspective of modern politics;

4. Knights duel: flamboyant fight, Arthur cut off the limbs of the black knight;

5. Burning Witch: the chaotic reasoning of the wisdom knight;

6. God appears: bring your own complaints, give tasks.

-

Second act

1. French defenders: swearing, throwing animals, ignoring Arthur and the knights;

A low-cost Trojan horse that fails by forgetting to pretend to be.

2. The historian enters into chaos, documentary style, killed by a knight

3. Robin and the three giants: Robin admitted to the corpse, but the bard mocked reluctantly

4. Pure Knight: Enter the castle of the lewd nun

5. King Arthur and "Ni": "Ni" knight asked for bushes, Arthur used meaningless "Ni" to ask the witch

6. Lancelot: The language of the castle owner and the guard are tangled;

The weak prince shoots arrows, Lancelot mistakenly thinks it is the princess to save people;

The scenes that run farther and farther suddenly appear and begin to slaughter the city, and then immediately apologize;

The prince is about to fall, and the lord of the castle and Lancelot ignore it at first sight;

The castle lord’s speech was repeatedly beaten in the face;

7. Black Wizard: OCD who keeps throwing guns, unexpectedly ordinary name Tim;

The big monster rendered is actually a rabbit, and the rabbit is attacking everywhere;

The nonsensical artifact "sacred grenade"

8. Approach the deepest cave and get the clue "Ah——"

The big monster was killed by the animator's violent death

-

Act Three

1. Cross the bridge of death: asking questions are unexpectedly simple, then difficult, then simple, and then killed

2. The final castle: accidental discovery of French defenders;

You can walk back directly to the surface of the water you had to row over;

The airborne "horseless" army, the army charges;

At the climax, the police rushed in and ended the filming.

Methods of creating comedy effects

1. Deconstruction: To deconstruct the authority of King Arthur, the knights are always running away, Lancelot is reckless, the wisdom knight is confused, the pure knight is easy to be tempted, the nun is licentious, the prince is weak, the bride It’s like an aunt, the actions of the characters under the majestic background music are ridiculous

2. Unexpected reversal: The terrifying big boss is found to be a rabbit, and the rabbit is killing all around. The fearsome riddler gives unexpectedly simple questions and particularly difficult questions.

3. The tangled long-winded dialogue: the soldier who entangled how the swallows brought the coconut shell; the saint who explained how to use the grenade; the dialogue between the guard and the castle owner who remembered 3 seconds

4. Ignored roles: the dialogue of the corpse collector ignores the protests of the living; the dialogue of the small soldiers ignores Arthur's request; the dialogue between the castle owner and Lancelot ignores the prince who is about to fall

5. Meaningless persistence: the knight and Arthur who insisted on saying "Ni"; the black wizard who kept throwing guns; the black knight who was chopped off and insisted on fighting

6. Unexpected solution: The corpse collector killed the living and solved the dilemma of not being able to collect the living; the knights ate the bard and solved the dilemma of being mocked

7. Dismantling: the dilemma that lies will be exposed, such as Robin who wants to hide his identity, but the bard keeps telling the truth

8. Misunderstanding: Lancelot thought it was the princess who was saving, and the pure knight thought it was the doctor who was going to treat himself. The lettering on the wall was "Ah~"

9. Nonsense: Airborne troops, "sacred grenade", historians, police, animators, etc.

  • King Arthur: Old woman!

    Dennis: Man.

    King Arthur: Man, sorry. What knight lives in that castle over there?

    Dennis: I'm 37.

    King Arthur: What?

    Dennis: I'm 37. I'm not old.

    King Arthur: Well I can't just call you "man".

    Dennis: Well you could say "Dennis".

    King Arthur: I didn't know you were called Dennis.

    Dennis: Well you didn't bother to find out, did you?

    King Arthur: I did say sorry about the "old woman", but from behind you looked...

    Dennis: What I object to is you automatically treat me like an inferior.

    King Arthur: Well, I am king.

    Dennis: Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.
