In "Batman", the protagonist is not just "Batman" and his enemies. The position of the protagonist should be counted as the city that has been in darkness. Needless to say, Batman's dark temperament naturally, the wonderful performance of "Joker" is also quite eye-catching. I think the only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is the final duel between Batman and the Joker, which seemed a bit dull. Jack Nicholson is really born with a mental illness, and the neurotic clown in a crazy state is just a role tailored for him. The chemical plants in the city are always filled with smoke. You can hardly see the daytime scenes in the movie, either a group of people in a dark room or Batman appearing in the dark night of the city. This fits closely with the darkness of Batman. In the end, the huge Batman logo shot into the sky opened the prelude to the "Batman" series of movies.
