Alfie (ie me): Did shukei watch the ghost writer? I went to HK the other day after watching Brothers and saw this masterpiece by Polanski, and in a trance I saw the soul possessed by Hedge Court. In particular, the last scene is gripping, and the ending comes to an abrupt end, leaving no light and hope, an out-and-out Polanski. Finally, I want to say that Olivia's performance is really superb.
