Returning to the American university campus, Jones met two military intelligence agents. The latter revealed to him that the Nazis were looking for Jones’s former mentor, Alberta Ravenwood. Ravenwood was an authoritative expert on ancient Egypt, and the Nazis I found Tanis and believed that the ark of the ten commandments was hidden there. Jones was very aware of the Nazi ambitions. Ravenwood had a brass cap indicating the location of the Ark. Once the Ark was acquired by the Nazis, the Nazi army with mysterious powers would invincible and dominate the world. Jones immediately flew to Nepal, but found that Ravenwood had passed away, and the bronze cap was inherited by his daughter, Jones' ex-girlfriend Marion. The Gestapo Daut led his men into Marion's tavern. After the fierce exchange of fire, Jones, who survived the catastrophe, rushed to Cairo with Marion and the bronze cap. The two found Sara, an experienced Egyptian digger in Cairo, who knew where the Nazis were digging, and through the instructions of the copper cap, they found that the Nazis had gotten the wrong direction.
Jones and Sara recruited people to dig in the right place. A few hours later, they dug the "soul well" where the ark of the covenant was hidden. When Jones, who was afraid of the viper, defeated fear and made the ark out of the temple, Belloc and the Nazis came and robbed the ark of the covenant. After a desperate struggle, Jones destroyed the Nazi plane and regained the Ark of the Covenant, and then boarded a cargo ship bound for Britain.
Early the next morning, a German submarine stopped the cargo ship. Belloc took away Marion and the Ark. Jones also sneaked into the submarine and followed Belloc and others to a deserted island. It turned out that they hoped before the Ark of the Covenant was handed over to Hitler. Test the power of the relic. Jones was accidentally captured and tied up with Marion. Belloc opened the ark, Jones and Marion closed their eyes tightly, because they knew that everyone who saw the ark opened would not escape death. In an instant, Belloc and the Nazis all died, and with a thunderstorm, the Ark of the Covenant was automatically closed again. In the end, after a lifetime of nine deaths, Jones finally brought the Ark of the Covenant back to the United States intact.
