Hollywood's big-budget historical films tend to do the first two, but
not much for the last .
The historical perspective of this film is very high, and it is not inclined to either the white colonists or the Indian natives, and the ills of both sides are fully described, which is very historically true. That's exactly where the well-made Last Samurai failed.

let alone historical movies. It
is what a movie should do to restore history well and portray the deepest human nature. All successful historical movies do this.
