This movie has never been down, I have heard about it for many years but I have never seen it in its entirety. It wasn't until yesterday that I stumbled across it in a tiny D-version disc shop. There is no complicated plot, and delicate feelings are filled in every shot, making people feel like they are back to their seventeen years old in a trance. Ryuko Matsuko's style is really classic, and the image of a sensitive and shy freshman seems to be special, but it seems to exist at that stage in everyone's life. Shunji Iwai's films have always maintained this stable taste. His films are a kind of emotion and a kind of color. No matter how rough the heart is polished by society, it will inevitably become sensitive and delicate again when facing such films. .
