Today, I finally finished watching this movie off and on. In fact, it tells a simple story about a little robot chasing his dream in the long river of time. The first half is science fiction and the second half is fairy tales. I kept thinking, what was David's "love" for Monica? When Monica says the mysterious seven words to David's smiling face, "love" will be branded in David's body. Maybe it's a program, a program that, once activated, exists in every circuit in David's body, a program that makes David want to be close to Monica all the time, a program that makes David live only for Monica from now on. The robot in the film has various functions, robot lover, robot nanny, robot doctor, simple and single-minded, David is the same, so when he was abandoned by Monica, the only thing he wanted to do was simply return to his mother Just around. He doesn't hate, he just loves, and even when abandoned by the one he loves, he still loves Monica because that's the only function he was made for. I can't think about whether such easy and unreasonable love can be regarded as an intelligent manifestation of artificial intelligence, but compared with the selfish humans in the film, it seems that robots are more worthy of love.
I hope that such artificial intelligence will never be made, no matter how bad the environment of the world becomes, how advanced the technology becomes, please never make artificial intelligence like David, because human beings will definitely live up to their single-minded and strong Love, because the vast majority of them won't end up with a Happy Ending like David.
The long river of time never stops, like the eternal love of robots.
