They can’t change history, but enough to win respect

The era of cold weapons will eventually come to an end. Although some people are fighting hard, this fate is well known to anyone and any leader.

However, this does not mean complete surrender and abandonment.

I think this is the biggest feeling this movie can bring to me.

If a nation wants to move forward, it must abandon the things under the old system. Just like the samurai swords, hair buns, and costumes in this film, this is a symbol of old civilization and culture; but this is not the same as the old culture. Betray history and forget the past. The development of culture is not a complete replacement, but a sublation. There is abandonment but also inheritance. Perhaps in history, all this is just a few words, but the story behind it is not just about compromise, concession, and submission.

As a mark under the wheel of history, they are doomed to a tragic fate. Perhaps they are not the ones who follow the wheels of their followers, or they just want to make the wheels slower. Perhaps they already know their fate, but their performance is worthy of respect.

History, of course, is to portray those forces and characters that push forward development even greater, because of their contributions, a nation will be more "modern"; but as an opponent of those characters, I want to say that sometimes , The same is great. Mutual achievements have truly created an era that moves forward without forgetting where you came from. Only this era will truly write the strongest stroke in history.

Comparable to Avatar. The plot is surprisingly similar. The sensation is in place, the scene is in place. It was a pleasure to watch with relatives.

The scene where it came like a gust of wind and went like a mist was sneak attacked is too shocking>< (Looks like I've seen it on TV several times before and haven't watched Orz...)

The Last Samurai quotes

  • Algren: [Narrating] I have been hired to suppress the rebellion of yet another tribal leader. Apparently, this is the only job for which I am suited. I am beset by the ironies of my life.

  • Colonel Bagley: Just tell me one thing, what is it about your own people you hate so much?
