The director and male lead of this film are the same person, and I am very impressed with the "Mist" starring him. In "Dark Country," which he directed and starred in, he tells a story with great stretch. The story is as much a schizophrenic as it is a purely paranormal tale. To say that it is a schizophrenic story stems from the general interpretation of the film. Many people think that some of the scenes and characters that appear in the movie are sick products of a false spiritual world. But at the same time, this story is regarded as a supernatural story. No matter what kind of story it is, I like the background of this story very much. Roads at night, roads without street lights and not many other vehicles, endless deserts on both sides of the roads, small public toilets in the desert and empty cars that are silent and do not know if there are people in them. These pictures can make people addicted, you can say that this is a road movie, but it is actually more attractive because of its darkness, as dark as the road without street lights at midnight.
