Doomsday movies are basically related to weapons of mass destruction. Of course, if you write about war directly, it will become a war movie, so you can only use human ignorance to nature to invent a new type of virus. Such films are either personal heroes saving the world, such as "Resident Evil", "I am a legend", or they criticize the stupidity of human beings and the coldness of human nature, such as "28 Days Later", "Son of Humanity". Unfortunately, this film has nothing to do with the above two points, so I can't see where the characteristics of the film are. A group of people just ran around in panic, and the male protagonist tried to find out the truth, but several speculations failed, and no answer was given until the end of the film. Is it to echo the Q&A in science class? To demonstrate the mysterious power of nature? Anyway, I was looking confused.
What interests me is Einstein's quote: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left". As a rigorous scientist, he boldly made such a prediction. What is even more terrifying is that the phenomenon of the disappearance of bees described in the film is happening quietly on our planet.
