At least I still have you

If human beings can no longer believe, even the memories of the past are false, who should they believe?

The special thing about "Moon" is that it is not about the survival of ordinary humans, but the survival of "clones." (To be honest, I welcome cloning technology because I want to use this technology to revive my dog.) This technology, which represents the superior wisdom of humans, has a complex background that can be imagined. This topic has been discussed in "Escape from the Island of Clone". Human beings have been discussing the topic of "life", whether it is humanoid or non-humanoid, whether it is high or low IQ. But in general, human beings should still respect life, especially those who are emotional and sentient. Because in the vast universe, the earth is too lonely and small. Humans and other creatures should depend on each other, coexist and prosper, rather than profit from each other and kill each other.

And "Moon", from beginning to end, is basically a one-man show of the male protagonist-if there is no such a robot named Gerty.
Gerty doesn't even have the shape of a "person". It is composed of several squares. It moves in the cabin through a movable suspension arm, and shows its "mood" through a small emoticon frame. It has accompanied SAM's life for several years, talking to him, and taking care of his daily life. Gerty can even help SAM conceal data, enter passwords, and prompt SAM what to do to safely leave the moon and return to the earth. The reason for this is all because of one of Gerty's procedures: to assist SAM and ensure his safety. In a sense, this movie seems to tell us: robots are sometimes more tender and "human" than humans.

With the development of human technology, the ubiquitous scenes of robots in science fiction movies will not take long to become reality. Technology is a double-edged sword, and human needs and fears of robots develop simultaneously. Classic sci-fi movies such as "Future Warrior", "The Matrix", and "I, Robot" all express the worry that human beings will be backlashed by their own over-developed technology. However, it is still robots that can help humans resist the fate of being backlashed. For example, in "9", a group of small robots with a linen appearance revives life on the earth; in "I, Robot" there is also a senior who shoulders the mission of salvation. Robots: The mutual help between the human fighters and the female aliens in "Planet Tylenol" is carried out with the assistance of the fighters' accompanying robots... There are many examples, so I won't list them one by one. The trouble should end it.

Looking at the scene of SAM saying goodbye to Gerty, I remembered a lyric: If the whole world I can give up, at least you are worth cherishing, and you are the miracle of life...

We all need partners, so please Treat life tenderly.

PS: The layout of the scene is very good, which is different from the cold metal style of American science fiction films. In addition, the soundtrack is great.

    Sam Rockwell's acting is mediocre.

You can guess the ending when you see a third, but the atmosphere is rendered very well and it doesn’t slide into the abyss of bad movies.
