The incest case of the Austrian beast father Josef Freitzler's prisoner daughter is still in my ears, and the Nazi culture is deeply rooted in Europe. The film "Dragon" contains quite heavy social issues and historical origins. Incorporating these into the novel is very important for the control of words. To a certain level of writers, it can still be done with ease, but the film can be made so full that I have to admire the profound skills of the director and actors.

The "female" protagonist's shape is quite subversive: a ring on her face, tattoos on both arms, a black dragon on her back, thick biceps, and tight muscles all over her body. If the film doesn't show a little bit and doesn't have sex with the hero, I'll take her as a man. Her identity is still a hacker, specializing in stealing personal privacy and selling money for a living. Although her previous criminal record made her subject to others, and even stabbed chrysanthemum in her mouth, the bumpy life did not bury her surprisingly calm and intelligent, coupled with the persistent male. The protagonist's tolerance and understanding, a little spark of love burst out.

Although last year's "Blood Invasion" was eye-catching, this year's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" really made me feel that Swedish movies have a sudden rise. While looking forward to the two sequels of "Dragon", I hope Swedish filmmakers will make persistent efforts to bring more excellent film works.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo quotes

  • Dirch Frode: What can you tell me about Blomkvist?

Lisbeth Salander: Everything is in the report.

    Dirch Frode: The short version.

Lisbeth Salander: Blomkvist got the nickname Kalle Blomkvist when he solved a bank robbery in the 80s. He's a very public person with no major secrets. Read the newspaper articles.

Dirch Frode: But does he have any secrets?

    Lisbeth Salander: Everyone has secrets.

  • Mikael Blomkvist: [about Martin Vanger] For fuck's sake, Lisbeth. His father trained him to murder at age sixteen. Anyone would be sick in the head with that kind of upbringing.

Lisbeth Salander: Shut up about the victimisation! He almost killed you. He raped and murdered and he enjoyed it. He had the same chances as us to choose what he wanted to be. He was no victim. He was a sadistic motherfucker who hated women.
