I wish I were big

Winnifred 2022-03-19 09:01:03

A twelve-year-old boy confronts a weird wishing machine and says "I want to grow up".

What a familiar sentence, a sentence that almost everyone has said in childhood. Of course, I am no exception.

Now, I have really grown up, troubles still exist, and happiness occasionally overflows, but all of them have been completely renewed.

Let me do a brainstorm, what did I get when I grew up? What has been lost?

Gained: Self-discipline, logic, doubt, some so-called socialized survival skills

Lost: enthusiasm, concentration, innocence, desire to win, imagination

can't come out.

In a word, the more we know, the more ignorant we are. Only when we are young can we have an infinite future, and I, who was already in the past, betrayed this infinite.
