Yossarian, the hero in the movie, was a flyer. He hated his excessive flights and he asked the doctor to declare that he was crazy, which of course failed. There were corrupt officals in the army. They made profic at the cost of the flyers' life. Yossarian's friends, except one, died in different ways: one were shot dead, one cut into two parts, one crushed into the hill.
Yossarian wanted to get rid of the army but he couldn't because of the Catch 22, which announced that any flyer who was crazy would go back home but since he was crazy he would go on his flying. At lasy he ran away with a raft, when people prepared his celebration with glorious music as the background.
There is a crazy world in the movie. Rational thinking is out of work. People in the Catch 22 is in a transparent ball and no one could get out except you are dead. If you died in the ball you could not get out of the ball yourself. That's rediculous!
By the way, I'm also deeply moved by it's sartarical style. I laughed throughout the movie and carve the movie into my mind.
