This is my first time in the cinema to see Korean movies. In general, although "Haeundae" as a whole can't compare to Hollywood's big shots like "Doomsday" and "The Day After Tomorrow", it is quite qualified with its emotional story structure and the disaster scenes presented in the panorama. It is much better from last year's most harmonious disaster film "Super Typhoon" in history. It can be said that the appearance of "Haeundae" has taught the so-called disaster films in the Chinese film industry a good lesson.

I have to admit that Korean films still have a pretty good position in today's world movie scene, especially in Asia, the strength of Korean films should not be underestimated. Take this film as an example, a director who once made a crazy comedy like "Color is Empty" can actually handle a disaster film quite reliably, which seems to be more difficult for Chinese filmmakers.

If you only watch the first hour of the film, you will most likely feel like you are watching a vulgar Korean drama. But I have to admit that at the end of the film, we will find that the film is actually paving the way for the outbreak of disaster scenes, such as the "three o'clock" joke. "Haeundae" adopts a multi-line narrative. After the family backgrounds of several groups of people are clearly introduced one by one, the stories that take place are full of jokes, and even some shadows of "Color is Empty". And the delicate storytelling style of Korean movies is still on display in this film. "Haeundae" uses several main characters for interspersed narratives, tries to describe human nature, successfully portrays several vivid images, and in the end, it is emotionally moving, which is also a trick that Korean films have always been good at It is also a strength that requires Chinese-language films to learn from. However, it does not mean that the story of "Haeundae" is almost perfect. In addition to being a little "vulgar", the shallow taste of some of the stories also made the audience not very touched in the end.

When I watched "Color Is Empty", I felt that Ha Ji Won had no other impression besides being beautiful, but "Haeundae" gave her a lot of room to play, especially when she saw her and the male lead in a scene together, even more. It's very engaging and touching.

In the creation of the disaster scene, "Haeundae" even invited a Hollywood production team, which shows good intentions. Unlike "Super Typhoon", which committed crimes against the wind, slapped swollen faces and made fat people, and used a few model props to perfunctory things, the very sincere "Haeundae" can This guy Feng Xiaoning's terrible film was thrown several streets away. The flooded city and crowded scenes also show that director Yin Qijun has a strong ability in big scene scheduling. In the second half of the film, not only the panorama reproduces every process of the tsunami, and the special effects scenes are extremely spectacular, but the main creators pursue perfection in details. From the effect of scene creation, it can be seen that it has been carefully designed. . However, if you want to get closer to the production level of Hollywood, it is impossible to have a few classic shots of Niu B, and "Haeundae" is also full of breathtaking scenes. These shots can be on the table, and they are very visual. The impact, I believe even audiences who are used to watching Hollywood disaster films, will praise it.

What is commendable is that "Haeundae" does not blindly promote individual heroism like some Hollywood and domestic movies, but deliberately downplays the role of rescue heroes and puts them on the same starting line as ordinary people. , without over-exaggerating and making it "Superman", and the appearance of many small characters also makes the audience feel cordial. At the same time, the film did not make the plot too harmonious, but arranged for several protagonists to make self-sacrifice at the end, not forgetting to flash the brilliance of human nature, which makes people feel that regret is also a kind of beauty.

Because of the heavy ending, "Haeundae" actually made the author feel quite distressed. Although the final film still fell into the vicious circle of "the main theme", the film as a whole has the style of a disaster film, and it is full of laughter and touching. In the end, it is a masterpiece that can be recorded in the annals of Korean film history. "Haeundae", known as "South Korea's first disaster blockbuster", is actually much stronger than "Super Typhoon", "China's first disaster blockbuster", and the reason why Korean filmmakers can overfulfill their tasks is the spirit of excellence, It is worth learning for Chinese filmmakers.
