In a word, beautiful film

Recently, I have watched the film and television works remade by Grandma's Book, and in fact, most of them feel that they are still inferior to the original. After all, grandma's too many trivial and sharp details are difficult to copy. But this version of the beer murder is an exception.

It's a story of memories piecing together. Everyone has a version of everyone's narrative, Rashomon in general. And each character is alive in the memory of each person. I remember when I was reading the book at the time, I thought it was a special one of my grandma's books. There were not many corpses, and there were not too many tricks. The simple truth was slowly revealed, which was shocking and embarrassing. The TV version reproduces these memories, and the beautiful pictures and characterization are very close to my imagination at the time (except for the tutor, too female housekeeper temperament...) Especially the protagonists are really alive. Some changes are not too far-fetched, such as why Philip hates Caroline. I love the same man, and I have to say that it is quite unique. . . Maybe because I watched Miss Mapp's series of frequent lesbian episodes, this is relatively natural. . .

That portrait was deliberately avoided and downplayed in the whole film. I thought it would appear at the last moment of the film. After all, Poirot's sentence "This is a portrait of a girl watching her lover die" was still very shocking. of. However, for the film, it may indeed be too difficult to reproduce such a portrait, and it may be easier to lose points. . .
