This is a very typical noir film. Solitary killers, gangsters, strong fatalism and similar movie shooting techniques are all presented in this film. The film was filmed in 1961. The director Allen Baron was a cartoonist before shooting this series, but he fell in love with the film because he went to the studio with his friends to get in touch with related work. Later, he studied film courses, and finally made this set of " Bursting in Silence".
This is a set of extremely low-cost works, and the length of the film is only 77 minutes. But the director's effect is by no means inferior to other noir classics. The film is about the unexpected trivia encountered by a killer in the process of assassinating a member of the Mafia. The side shows a lone killer who escapes a life full of hardships by loneliness, and finally embarks on the road of destiny. The director couldn't find the right actor due to resource issues, only to realize that he was the best actor for the role when feasible. This "Lone Killer", who appeared before Allen Dillon, displayed "humanized loneliness" and was a success.
The film brought Allen Baron to Hollywood that year, but nothing better. On the contrary, he stepped into the TV circle and made hundreds of TV shows. In the documentary reviewing the bits and pieces of the film, Allen Baron revisited his hometown, and his words are full of life feelings, and he also has a bleak sadness and helplessness about Hollywood. Thirty years later he wowed audiences with his films at the Berlin Film Festival. The dream-seeking work of the past may be the director's only classic masterpiece. It finally stepped from the dark to the light and won thunderous applause and praise from everyone. Last year, the film launched a CC version of the DVD, and entered the threshold of the movie hall.
The journey of chasing a dream always touches people's hearts, no matter whether it is successful or not. Whether you like film noir or not, this is a must-see.
