At least in "The Undead", Shyamalan's audio-visual language is full of this charming appeal. Whether it is the movement of the mirror or the choice of strong contrasting colors, they all support the "Undying" always tell us that this is far from us. A fitting and unreal story. After "The Sixth Sense of Life and Death" became a global hit, Shyamalan was regarded as an innovator of film theory, but "Undead" really makes people wonder what story he wants to tell - maybe it's because he thinks There's so much to tell that I want to find my own way. Such a tone Meyer directly led to the gimmicks of the sequels "Split" and "Mr. Glass", but they could not stand up to pondering.

David Dunn: You killed all those people.
Elijah Price: But I found you. So many sacrifices just to find you.
Elijah Price: Are you ready for the truth?
